On Saturday Sept. 18, the first annual “Serving for Love Benefit” will bring the community together for an afternoon of fun and friendly competition at The Hills of Lakeway (formerly World of Tennis). The event will benefit one of Lakeway’s local charities, the Lake Travis Crisis Ministries. The organization provides food, financial assistance, and support to area individuals. www.ltcrisisministries.org

The event will feature a great day of fun including tennis tournament, a silent auction, music, door prizes, games, lots of good food, (breakfast and lunch), social area for drinks, games like corn-hole and college football on multiple TVs!

Tennis players will be divided into multi-level teams to compete in a fun, “almost no rules” format. Need a “do- over” for that double fault or missed return? How about a free point? Want a ringer for a sub? You got it! Tokens for these and other options will be available for purchase at the event
